Silver Software identifying the opportunities in the US opened a new office and started a Railway project immediately for one of the worlds leading Railway service provider. This is in line with Silver Software’s expansion plans and also the focus it has on Real Time Safety Critical markets.

Silver Software exhibited at ATC Maastricht held in Netherlands from 10th to 12th of February. This was the first time Silver Software exhibited at ATC Maastricht and got a very good response from prospective buyers who looked at the capabilities of the company. Silver Software exhibited at the Ada UK Spring conference on 9 April 2003. Silver’s presence at the Autumn Conference in October 2002 generated a lot of interest when representatives of the company presented a paper on the issues around recruitment and retention of Ada software engineers in the real-time market. Silver Software exhibited at the Railtex Exhibition from 26-28 November 2002. Silver Software has a great deal of experience in the development of safety-critical software in the railway market, specifically with ERTMS, Automatic Train Operation and Automatic Train Protection. Silver Software presented a paper on the issues around recruitment and retention of Ada software engineers in the real-time market.
